About Us

Chef David began his culinary journey in 2003. After over 15 years as an executive chef, he and his family fulfilled their dream by opening Tacos Madre Mexican Cocina in Costa Mesa in November 2021.

This restaurant embodies "comida casera," or homestyle cooking, and quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Building on this success, the family launched Tacos Madre Kitchen & Cantina, an upscale concept with a full bar program.
