MY STORY
Charlene Gozony, the owner of Gozony LNEC, is a California native with over 30 years of working in healthcare. Ms. Gozony served in the U.S. Army for 11 years in the medical core and still carries the values of a soldier.
Ms. Gozony received a master's degree ( MSN) in Hospital Leadership from her studies at Grand Canyon University. Ms. Gozony also received her certificate for Legal Nurse Consulting from Cal State Long Beach CLS program and her ADN from United States Army Reserves: Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California, in 1998. Ms. Gozony has also been certified as a Critical Care RN since 2006 by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
In her clinical career of 30 years, Ms. Gozony has been in the acute care setting in the fields of Critical Care, Emergency care, Orthopedics, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, wound care, Director of critical care services, Nurse Manager of Telemetry, Urology, Nursing float Pool. She has created and implemented house-wide policies for patient care and float pool units, managed day-to-day operations for inpatient units, and created and implemented float pools for three hospitals in Los Angeles and Loma Linda. Ms. Gozony has experience as a critical care educator, creating and implementing new graduate nurses' onboarding and critical care training programs.
Ms. Gozony is a member of the American Association for Legal Nurse Consultants, the American Association for Critical Care Nurses, the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, and an Orange County Bar Association affiliate.
