Egg-citing Events for Families in Santa Ana This March

Spring is in the air in Santa Ana, and there are so many great family-friendly events happening this month! Whether you're looking for active adventures, cultural experiences, or just quality time together, there's something for everyone. Here are the can't-miss March events in Santa Ana:

Santa Ana Community Gardens 

 

   

Get your green thumb on at the city's free Community Garden workshops happening throughout March. All workshops will take place during the open hours for the following dates and locations:

March 22 - Jerome Park Garden  

March 25 - Pacific Electric Park Garden

March 27 - Roosevelt-Walker Garden

March 27 - El Salvador Park Garden

It's a fun way to get kids interested in gardening and healthy eating this spring! Check out Community Garden hours here! 


Free Learn to Ride a Bike Class 


Is there a kid or even an adult in your life who hasn't learned to ride a bike yet? The free "Learn to Ride" bike class on March 23rd is perfect for new or non-riders. 

Must be at least 10 years old to sign up.  Adults are encouraged!

Date:  Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time:  9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Eggstravaganza in the Park  


For egg-citing event, check out the Eggstravaganza in the Park on March 23rd. Kids can hunt for eggs filled with treats and prizes, play games, and meet the Easter Bunny. It's a fun way to celebrate the arrival of spring!

Date:  Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 2:00pm to 5:00 p.m.

Location: 602 E. 4th St, Santa Ana, Ca 92701

Annual Free Museum Day 

Get your culture fix at the Bowers Museum's annual Free For All day on March 23rd. You can explore all 9 of their  museum's exhibits and discounted $10 tickets to Asian Comics: Evolution of An Art Form. It's a great opportunity to expose kids to art and history.

Date:  Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Free Teen Excursion to San Diego Zoo 

Teens ages 13-17 can go on an all-day field trip to the world-famous San Diego Zoo for free on March 23rd through Santa Ana's Teen Excursion program. Space is limited, so sign up soon for this fun and educational adventure. Sign up here! If you miss the deadline make sure to sign up for next month's excursion.

Date:  Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm.

Eggcellent Adventure



The biggest egg hunt in Orange County is back! Head to Centennial Park on March 30th for the annual Eggcellent Adventure. Kids can hunt for thousands of candy and prize-filled eggs, plus enjoy games, crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more. It's an egg-citing morning of family fun!
